राम written in natural rhodolite garnet, a deep raspberry red that shifts toward crimson as the light moves across it, framed in walnut on its own engraved base. Our most substantial piece, for the occasions that deserve one.

Where our amethyst Ram is quiet and inward, this one is warm and declarative, closer to the saffron and vermilion the name is usually written in. Devanagari is drawn, not printed. The shirorekha across the top is laid in a single unbroken run, and every letter below hangs from it exactly as it would from a calligrapher's hand. Marquise cut stones are used at the terminals, where a rounded stone would blunt the stroke.

In many households Ram naam is written rather than spoken. A piece like this belongs where that practice already lives: a puja room, a mandir shelf, above a doorway, or on a shelf where it is seen each morning.

The most significant piece in our collection, and the one chosen when the occasion is large: a fiftieth anniversary for parents, a griha pravesh for a family home, a Ram Navami gift, or a corporate gift where the recipient genuinely matters. Set onto cream suede, framed in solid wood, standing on its own engraved base.

In the tradition, rhodolite garnet is used as a stone of Rahu, associated with drive, resolve and worldly ambition. This is a traditional association rather than a claim about what the stone will do.

This is an object for a room, not a stone to be worn, and not an idol for abhishek. Made in small numbers in New Delhi, certified, insured and gift boxed.
